Keyboarding Assessment Information
The keyboarding assessment previously administered in 6th grade will now only be administered in 5th grade to better meet USOE's assessment requirements. Please see the documents listed below for more information. This assessment is required for every fifth-grade student.

Keyboarding Assessment Training
Each elementary school's Educational Technology Specialist will train all 5th grade teachers every year on how to conduct the keyboarding assessment. Trainings will be scheduled for the week of March 17-21, 2014. Trainings are 30 minutes in length.

Testing Window
The 5th Grade Keyboarding Assessment window is scheduled for March 24-April 4, 2014, with data due on April 7, 2014. The assessment takes approximately 60-90 minutes per class. It is vital that these dates be followed to allow the Education Technology Department to report scores to USOE on time.

Results will be submitted electronically again this year. See the documentation linked below for more information.
